BUSY DAD RESET
Become the Strong, Energetic Dad Your Children Deserve
Helping busy dads lose the dad bod, build strength and become role models for their family—in just 3–5 hours of training per week.
No restrictive diets.
No living in the gym.
No guesswork.
Just intelligent coaching built around your life.
Does This Sound Familiar?
You know training is important.
But between work, family commitments and everything else life throws at you, your own health has slowly slipped down the priority list.
You tell yourself you’ll start next week.
Then work gets busy.
The kids need something.
You’re exhausted.
Weeks become months.
The weight creeps on.
Your energy drops.
Your confidence disappears.
You don’t need another workout plan.
You need a system that works around real life.
Introducing Busy Dad Reset
Busy Dad Reset is my flagship online coaching programme designed specifically for fathers who want to become stronger, leaner and healthier without sacrificing family life.
Everything is personalised.
Everything is adapted.
Everything evolves as you do.
This isn’t another PDF programme.
This is genuine one-to-one coaching.
The Busy Dad Blueprint
Everything we do is built around three simple principles.
Fatherhood Framework
Forget spending six days a week in the gym.
Your programme is designed to deliver maximum results with the minimum effective amount of training.
Most clients train just 3–5 hours each week.
This is the foundation everything else gets built on — simple, proven strength and conditioning that fits around being a dad, not around chasing a bodybuilder's schedule.
Mindful Reset
No meal plans.
No separate family dinners.
No banning foods.
You’ll learn how to fuel your body while still enjoying weekends, holidays and meals with your family.
Think of it like budgeting your finances — a few consistent go-to habits underneath, with plenty of room left over to spend on what matters, like family meals and weekends away.
The Accountability
Motivation comes and goes.
Systems don’t.
Together we’ll build habits that become automatic, so looking after yourself simply becomes part of who you are.
This isn't just about you. When you take ownership of your habits, you're teaching your kids what discipline and follow-through actually look like — long after the motivation of day one has worn off.
The Journey: How It All Flows
Right, imagine you're a new client and I'm walking you through this for the first time. Here's how I'd explain it:
"So here's what the next 12 weeks actually look like."
Most guys come to me expecting a workout plan on day one. That's not how this works, and honestly, that's why it works better than the programmes you've probably tried before.
First, we figure out where you actually are. (Phase 1: Foundation)
Before you lift a single weight with me, we sit down and go through everything — your training history, your injuries, your work schedule, your family life, what you're eating right now, how you're sleeping, what's worked before and what hasn't. This isn't a box-ticking exercise. It's the difference between guessing and actually knowing what you need.
Think of it like a doctor doing an assessment before writing a prescription. I'm not handing you a generic plan because generic plans are why you're here talking to me in the first place. This phase usually takes the first couple of weeks, and by the end of it, we've got a clear baseline — a starting point we can actually measure progress against.
Then, we get the wheel turning. (Phase 2: Build)
From week three onwards, we're not reinventing anything — we're just picking up the wheel and getting it rolling. This is the bulk of the 12 weeks: consistent training, three to five hours a week, built entirely around your schedule and your current ability. Nothing flashy, nothing that needs you to have four spare hours or a home gym like a CrossFit box.
This is also where the Mindful Reset nutrition piece kicks in properly — not diet rules, just a simple, repeatable way of eating that survives a Tuesday night with the kids and a Saturday barbecue. Every week we check in, review how things are going, and adjust. If something's not working — you're too tired, life's thrown a curveball, whatever it is — we fix it that week, not three months later when you've already quit.
The whole point of this phase is boring in the best way: show up, do the work, repeat. That's genuinely most of the battle.
Finally, it stops feeling like "training" and starts feeling like just... who you are. (Phase 3: Momentum)
By the time you're 8 to 12 weeks in, something shifts. You're not white-knuckling your way through workouts anymore — it's just part of your week, the same way brushing your teeth is. That's the goal of this whole phase: not a six-pack, not a personal best, but proof that you can sustain this without relying on motivation, which we both know runs out eventually.
Once that's locked in, we don't just stop — we look at what's next. Maybe it's building more strength, maybe it's a specific goal like a race or a BJJ competition, a specific holiday you want to show up looking your best at, maybe it's just refining what's already working. This is also where The Accountability piece really shows up — you've built the habits, and now you're the guy who follows through without needing someone to chase you. That's the version of you your kids are watching.
And then it just... continues. After the initial 12 weeks, we keep going on a flexible monthly basis — because getting here was never the finish line. It was proof you could do it.

Why Busy Dad Reset Works
Most online coaching fails because it gives everyone the same programme.
Life doesn’t work like that.
Every client has different work hours.
Different children.
Different injuries.
Different experience.
Different goals.
That’s why every programme I build is completely individual.
No templates.
No copy-and-paste coaching.
No generic meal plans.
Everything revolves around your life.
Why Work With Me?
For over 15 years I’ve coached everyone from complete beginners through to professional fighters and international athletes.
I’ve also rebuilt myself after spinal surgery, heart surgery, broken bones and donating a kidney.
Those experiences reinforced something I now teach every client.
Results don’t come from finding the perfect programme.
They come from consistently following the right programme.
That’s exactly what Busy Dad Reset is designed to help you do.

As a father of two teenage daughters with a demanding career, he wanted to stay strong, healthy and capable while balancing work, family life and ambitious endurance challenges.
Over the years, we’ve built a long-term coaching relationship that has adapted to his changing goals, from improving everyday health and strength to preparing for major endurance events. Every programme has been tailored around his busy schedule, helping him train consistently without compromising family or work commitments.

Successfully managed injuries while maintaining long-term progress
“I’ve been working with Dave for nearly six years. During that time we’ve trained towards all kinds of events, including completing an ultra run across the Sahara. He has consistently provided intelligent advice and programming to manage my busy work schedule and training. Whenever I’ve been injured through other hobbies, he’s been the voice of reason—helping me reduce intensity while maintaining consistency. I’d highly recommend Dave to anyone.”
